Every now and then we get the chance to work on a building that’s a bit special.
This job took us to New Lanark, one of Scotland’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. While most people visit to learn about its history, we were there for a different reason… to carry out high level window cleaning on one of the mill buildings.
Planning Comes First
When working five storeys up, we don’t just turn up with our pole system and hope for the best. Planning is essential.
The access equipment has to be positioned properly, the ground conditions checked and the work planned so it can be carried out safely from start to finish. Once everything is in place, we work methodically through the process so that we do the job properly.
